Damilano has been making wines since the end of the 19th century. The importance they have always given to the land and a family history linked to the best crus of Barolo have brought the elaborations of Damilano to the best tables in the world.
In 1890, Giuseppe Borgogno, great-grandfather of the current owners, began to harvest and vinify a Barolo MGA. It was with Giacomo Damilano, son-in-law of the founder, that the winery adopted its current name. His grandchildren have established the internationalization of the brand, as well as the commitment to Nebbiolo in some of the best MGAs or Crus of Barolo.
