Continuous improvement

At the beginning, Naoko and Gustav bought 4 hectares of vineyards that they sought to work faithfully. For this reason, throughout their history they have always sought to be linked to renowned winemakers, such as winemaker Andy Erickson and consultant Michel Rolland. With the arrival of Maya as technical director, the adaptation of the vineyard to current realities and climate change has led the vineyard to biodynamic practices. The focus on sustainability has allowed Dalla Valle to adapt and continue to produce some of the most highly regarded wines in the Napa Valley.

Unique terroir

The hills of Oakville offer rocky soils and a favorable microclimate that are ideal for exceptional vineyards. Dalla Valle, from the beginning, was a project that sought to create wines that reflected both the unique terroir of Oakville. Its development by parcels and blocks and good accolades during the 1990s soon made it one of Napa’s great projects for the new century.
